Lucca Comics and Games 2012 - 2nd part

Hi,

This is my first post on this blog (and maybe it is also the last one XD);
Jessie has already described our day at Lucca Comics in an exhaustive way.
I'd reassume it as a long day, hard, but very funny. 
It was a pity for the few cosplayers and for the exagerate prices in a lots of stands (my favorite area was the Japan Palace, of course ^__^).
I felt in love with a Sailor Moon art book, but it costed 360 euros :(

For me was just the forst time in cosplay at Lucca, I was dressed as Chii from Chobits, and I was surprised by the fact that many persons had recognized me and took photos. They were all very kind. Unfortunately (or just good for you XD) I have got no photos of my cosplay, but maybe in the next time I'll find some pics online. ahahah!

Me and Jessie had admired for many minutes the droids and Vader (if I heard another time call him Fener, I would kill XD) installation and I took a photo where their lights were on and one where they were off, the second one unfortunately got lost (eh I know, these are serious things eh!) and here you are the enlighted threesome:

I confirm the presence of many Jedies and light sabers, and I whined all the day about the fact that I want a lightsaber, me too :( I got consoled taking a photo to Obi.

Obviously I couldn't come back home without buying anything, so here you are my kawaii purchases

You can see the Chii stickers (that clearly they have got their own lives and they get off by theirselves °_°) and a tiny Sumomo cardboard, always from Chobits. And the main piece, the Creamy bag <3

Ciao,

Questo è il mio primo post su questo blog (e forse anche l'ultimo XD);
Jessie ha già descritto in modo esauriente la giornata del Lucca comics.
Io riassumerei con giornata lunga, faticosa però molto divertente.
Peccato per i pochi cosplay e i prezzi esageratamenti alti della maggior parte degli stand (ovviamente il mio padiglione preferito è stato il Japan Palace ^_^)

Io mi ero innamorata di un art book di Sailor Moon peccato che costasse 360 euro :(

Per me era praticamente la prima volta che andavo a Lucca in cosplay, ero vestita da Chii di Chobits, e sono rimasta sorpresa dal fatto che molta gente mi abbia riconosciuta e fotografata. Sono stati tutti molto gentili.

Purtroppo (o meglio per voi XD) non ho foto del mio cosplay ma forse più avanti troverò qualcosa online ahah!

Io e la Jessie abbiamo contemplato per molti minuti l'installazione dei droidi e Darth Vader ( se sento un'altra volta chiamarlo Fener potrei uccidere XD) ed io avevo fatto una foto dove erano accesi e una dove erano spenti, purtroppo la foto dove erano spenti è andata perduta (eh lo so, son cose gravi eh!) e quindi eccovi qui il terzetto illuminato:

Confermo la presenza di numerosi Jedi e light saber ed io ho piagniucolato tutta la giornata sul fatto che anche io volevo una spada laser :(  mi sono consolata facendo una foto ad Obi

Ovviamente non potevo andare a casa senza comprare nulla quindi eccovi i miei tristerrimi acquisti kawaii

Potete vedere gli adevisi di Chii (che evidentemente hanno vita propria e si sono staccati da soli °_°) e un cartonato piccolissimo di Sumomo sempre di Chobits. Ed il pezzo forte la borsa di Creamy <3

Lucca Comics and Games 2012 - 1st part

Today we wanna write about our little trip to Lucca Comics!

Lucca Comics and Games is the biggest convention in Italy about comics, games and everything related to them.

Yesterday [this post was originally wrote on Friday!], we (me - Jessie - and Babydoll - one of the other two girls who run this blog) went to Lucca  with other two friends of us.

 We had lots of fun and see some really interesting things... :)

Now, I'm going to write this 1st part - (Babydoll will write the 2nd one) - post about our shopping, opinions and so on...

[my part will be really boring, while the Babydoll's one will be kawaii for sure! X°D]

I had a lots of fun, I love this convention atmosphere! ♥ ♥ ♥

I love to see all the cosplayers walking up and down for the streets (not so much cosplay yesterday :S) I like all the stands with a lots of gadgets for every kinds and all the comics, the expositions, and so on... 

I was looking for some classic sci-fi novels (and I found a lots of books! YAY! *O*), old American sci-fi comic books  based on '2001: a space odyssey' (and I didn't find'em, but I won an ebay auction, so I'm happy anyway) and lots of absourd gadgets (not so happy about my discoveries u___u).

When we entered into the fair the first stand I saw, was the one of Fanucci (an Italian book editor) and I immediately go to it, and here I bought this:

I like Fanucci Editore  'cause they print so many books from Philip K. Dick ♥ (the men, who written the novels that ispirated Blade Runner and Total Recall - just only to quote the must famous).

For the record, Fanucci printed also the Dune saga (written by Dan Simmons) - maybe someone had saw the Lynch film... ;)

There were a magnificent Star Wars installation with DarthVader and ''the America's most beloved couple'' R2D2 and CP3O! ♥

I love that two super adorable droids! CP3O is the best Star Wars saga character! no joke! He's my fav! ♥ 

Then, after we had visited the Games area, (there were some gadgets really too cool and there were also too many lightsabers *A*  - a lots of stuff about Star Wars in this edition of Lucca Comics!) we went to the other areas, to find some comics and stuff.

And I started to find my treasures! CLASSIC/HARD SCI-FI NOVELS! ♥ (sorry for the caps-lock, but I'm still euphoric for all the books I found! *0*)

and here all my new lovely books from Arthur C. Clarke:

Arthur C. Clarke was the genius who written with Stanley Kubrick the most beautiful film ever:

'2001: a space odyssey'  ♥ that is my favorite film! And I'm too happy to have found 'The Sentinel' (the input of all the odyssey! X°D)

I love so much the novels wrote by ACC and I'm too happy to had find all these old novels!

But my needs of true sci-fi litterature wasn't satisfated, so I have bought also all these:

Isaac Asimov is one of the most important sci-fi author, and his stories about robots are really adorable, and his saga about Hari Seldon and the Foundation is fantastic! SO, I needed also these books!

We saw also the other stands with a lots of comics (I was truly disappoited by the prices put out from the editors - the same I can find at the comic-book shop! è__é) and the Japan Palace with too many cute stands!

 This convention is really big and we had spent all the day walking up and down, looking for other Urania series books, old comic books, new comic books, oddities and so on.

I also looked for the Alan Moore ♥ and Frank Miller graphic novels, but the prices of the Italian editions are quite high, and I truly prefer the original ones, also for the translations (translating from English means to loose a lots of words-games and so on) so I will buy their operas from internet... u__u

I was sad also to had not found many things from Watchman :(

As I write upper, there weren't so many cosplayers as I saw in the past editions (maybe because was the first day of convention) but there were a lots of jedies, stormtroppers and Lord Vader... all really well done! *____*

But the genius of all the convention was a guy who reproduced a sceene from 'Shining'!  ♥

Truly, his idea was wonderful! ♥ I felt in love with him.

At the end we came back to the Games area, that I bough a present for my little brother (an action figure of Ryuk from Death Note - I won't go on about how I was disappoited with the organization for the presence of Takeshi Obata =___='' I came to the convetion with my T.O. original art-book and first numbers of his mangas... for nothing! *agry! I wished so much for an autoghraph or only to see him, but nothing!*)

Oggi vogliamo scrivere della nostra piccola gita al Lucca Comics!

Lucca Comics and Games è la più grossa convention italiana di fumetti, giochi e tutto ciò che vi è collegato.

Ieri [questo post è stato scritto originariamente venerdì!] noi (io - Jessie - e Babydoll - una delle altre due ragazze che gestiscono questo blog) siamo andate a Lucca con altri nostri due amici.

Ci siamo divertite un mucchio e abbiamo visto certe cose molte interessanti ... :)

Ora  scriverò la prima parte della nostra gita - (Babydoll scriverà la seconda parte) sulle nostre compere, opinioni e così via...

[la mia parte sarà molto noiosa, mentre quella di Babydoll sarà certamente kawaii! X°D]

Adoro vere tutti i cosplayers camminare aù e giù per le strade (non molti cosplay ieri... :S), mi piace che ci siano tanti stands con gadgets per tutti i gusti, tutti i fumetti, le mostre e via discorrendo...

Stavo cercando alcuni romanzi di fantascienza  classica (e ho trovato un mucchio di libri! YAY! *O*), una vecchia serie di fumetti americani basati su '2001: odissea nello spazio' (non li ho trovati, ma ho vinto l'asta ebay, perciò sono contenta lostesso) e un mucchio di gadget assurdi (non sono proprio felicissima di cò che ho trovato u___u).

Quando siamo entrati nella fiera il primo stand che ho visto, era quello di Fanucci e mi ci sono recata immediatamente, e ho comprato questo:

Mi piace Fanucci Editore, perchè hanno stapato un mucchio di libri di Philip K. Dick ♥ (l'uomo, che ha scritto i romanzi da cui sono tratti Blade Runner e Total Recall - giusto per citare i più famosi).

Per la cronaca, Fanucci ha stampato anche la saga di Dune (scritta da Dan Simmons) - forse qualcuno ha visto il film di Lynch... ;) 

C'era una meravigliosa installazione di Star Wars con Darth Vader e "la coppia più amata d'America" R2D2 e C3PO! ♥

Amo quei due super adorabili droidi! C3PO è il miglior personaggio della saga di Star Wars! non scherzo! E' il mio favorito! ♥ 

Dopo aver visitato la Games area, (c'erano alcuni gadget davvero fighi e c'erano pure tantissime lighsabers *A* - un mucchio di robe su Star Wars in questa edizione del Lucca Comics!) siamo andati nelle altre aree, per trovare alcuni fumetti e aggeggi.

E Ho iniziato a trovare i miei tesori! ROMANZI DI FANTASCIENZA CLASSICA! ♥ (scusate per il caps-lock, ma sono ancora euforica per tutti i libri che ho trovato! *0*)

ed ecco qui i miei nuovi libri di Arthur C. Clarke:

Arthur C. Clarke è il genio che assieme a Stanley Kubrick, ha scritto il più bel film di sempre:

'2001: odissea nello spazio' ♥ è il mio film preferito! E sono così felice di aver trovato 'La Sentinella' (l'input di tutta l'odissea! X°D)

Amo tantissimo i romanzi scritti da ACC e sono così contenta di aver trovato tutti questi vecchi libri!

Ma il mio bisogno di vera letteratura di fantascienza non era soddisfatto, perciò ho comprato pure questi:

Isaac Asimov è uno dei più importanti autori di sci-fi, e le sue storie sui robot sono davvero adorabili, e la sua saga su Hari Seldon e la Fondazione è fantastica! PERCIO' avevo bisogno di tutti questi libri!

Abbiamo anche visto gli altri stand con tantissimi fumetti (sono rimasta molto delusa dai prezzi che avevano le case editrici - gli stessi da fumetteria! è__é) e il Japan Palace con i suoi carinissimi stand!

Questa fiera è davvero molto grande e abbiamo passato tutta la giornata camminando sù e giù, cercando altri libri della serie Urania, vecchi fumetti, nuovi fumetti, stramberia e via così.

Ho pure cercato delle graphic novels di Alan Moore ♥ e Frank Miller, ma i prezzi delle edizioni italiane sono abbastanza cari, e sinceramente preferisco le originali, anche per le traduzioni (tradurre dall'inglese vuol dire perdere un mucchio di giochi di parole e simili) perciò comprerò le loro opere da internet... u__u

Inoltre non ho trovato molte cose di Watchman :(

Come ho scritto più in alto, non c'erano molti cosplayers come ho visto negli anni passati (forse perchè era il primo giorno di fiera) ma c'erano tanti jedi, stormtrooper e Lord Vader... tutti davvero ben fatti! *___*

Ma il genio della fiera era un ragazza che ha riprodotto una scena da 'Shining'! ♥

Seriamente, la sua idea era fantastica! ♥ Mi sono innamorata di lui.

Alla fine siamo tornati alla Games area, e ho comprato un regalo per il mio fratellino (un'action figure di Ryuk da Death Note - non mi dilungherà sù quando sia rimasta delusa dall'orhanizzazione per la presenza di Takeshi Obata =___='' Sono andata alla fiera con il mio art book originale di T.O. e i primi numeri dei suoi manga ... per niente! *rabbia! Desideravo tanto un suo autografo o anche sono di vederlo, ma nulla!*)
